BECOMING AN OUTCAST

The Outcast Opera Company welcomes interest from all classical singers, physical performers and musicians! We recognise the wealth of national talent and our aim is to provide a home for emerging artists or young performers who may still be training, studying or have recently completed a tertiary degree.

We encourage a non-traditional aesthetic and welcome all subcultures. We are a multidisciplinary performance company and encourage cross-genre collaboration and developing your own projects in a supportive environment

PHYSICAL PERFORMERS
Outcast is a multidisciplinary company and is interested in ALL styles and genres including circus, burlesque, clowning and physical theatre. We are looking to add new physical performers to our books. SO If you have an interest in multidisciplinary performance or are looking for the challenge of working across genres please contact Jordin to arrange a meeting or email an example of your work to jordin@outcastopera.com


VOCALISTS
We are always looking for new vocalists to join the Outcast team but are currently seeking some voice types for upcoming installation pieces specifically:
1 mezzo soprano
2 tenors
1 bass
We are also seeking trained ethnic voicetypes of all genres.

To arrange an audition: Please email jordin@outcastopera.com to organise an individual time. For Bel Canto voices, you will need to prepare a traditional aria/oratorio and one modern aria or art piece (preferably atonal). For other ethnic styles please prepare two pieces of your choice that show off your vocal ability and range.


STREET DANCE CHOREOGRAPHER
We are looking for an emerging or semi-established street dance choreographer to work with our team.
